UC Davis Health Campus Education Building LEED Readiness

In support of the University of California’s broader sustainability and carbon neutrality goals, the UC Davis’s department of Energy and Engineering is working toward certifying the UC Davis Health (UCDH) campus’ recently constructed Education Building with the U.S. Green Building Council (USBGC) under their Leadership and Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) framework. This report focuses on assessing the readiness of the Education Building for LEED certification with respect to four specific LEED-mandated prerequisites identified as high priority by the department of Energy and Engineering. The results of the analysis for each prerequisite are presented in a dedicated section, with the methods, results, and recommendations nested within each section.
