Bio

Daphne Condon is a Ph.D. candidate in Energy Systems studying the socio-ecological implications of the renewable energy transition. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy at Western Washington University and her Master's of Science in Cultural and Environmental Resource Management at Central Washington University. Her research interests include exploring the nexus of society, environment, and geography in utility-scale solar and wind development. She also studies developmental opportunities for dual-use solar technologies, such as agrivoltaics. Daphne is affiliated with the Global Ecology and Sustainability Lab and UC Davis Wild Energy Center.
