Are you interested in conducting a community-based project but not sure where to start? Are you looking for a real hands-on educational experience? Do you want to work in an interdisciplinary environment? If you answered yes to any of these questions, join our course!
In the Winter Quarter, the Sustainable Living/Learning Community (SLLC) is partnering with the UC Davis D-lab to bring you: “ABT 289-A: Feasibility studies at the Domes and adjacent sites, West Campus”. This year’s projects will be centered around the following issues:
- ADA Accessible Path and Outdoor Classroom / Technology Showcase in a Pilot Hut
- Common House / Community Kitchen at the Domes
- Visions for Domes 2.0
Whether you work in agriculture, anthropology, design, social justice, community development, sociology, international development, economics, animal science, engineering, or any other discipline, we have a spot for you. We are looking for upper-division undergraduate and graduate students from ALL disciplines! There are no prerequisites for this course.
