UC Davis exchange cohort of summer 2024 at Southern Denmark University (SDU) for a summer school on 'Cities and Climate Change'.

The UC Davis Design Lab partners with leading Danish universities through the ARGTREE network (Advancing a Resilient Green Transition by Research, Education & Entrepreneurship) to collaboratively tackle global challenges in climate resilience and sustainable energy. This transatlantic initiative brings together the complementary strengths of institutions in Denmark and California—both global leaders in renewable energy, electrification, and sustainable community development. Core activities include student and faculty exchanges, workshops, summer and winter schools, training programs, delegation visits, and virtual seminars. Together, these efforts foster knowledge exchange and co-create innovative solutions across key focus areas: sustainable communities, decarbonization, electrification, circular economy, and education for sustainable development.
