D-Lab Project Manager

Radhika Marwaha is currently a third-year undergraduate pursuing a major in Global Disease Biology, and a minor in International Agriculture Development at UC Davis. At PIET, she serves as a project manager and teaching assistant working with clients, partners, and students in D-lab courses. In summer 2018, she also worked in Andimadam, a rural setting in southern India, as PATA Blum Fellow and a member of Project RISHI (Rural India Social and Health Improvement). With community members, she was able to co-create and implement projects in Women’s Health, Income Generation, Computer Programming, Diabetes Education and Hygiene, and Sanitation. She also works as a Data Analysis Intern to geographically model micronutrient deficiencies in Haiti and has been involved with serving local and global underserved communities. Her work encompasses refugee and immigrant healthcare research and community development, and she is also a Community Organizer for the Middle Eastern, North African, South Asian (MENASA) Student Resources unit on campus.
